Zhongda wharf, formerly known as Kangle wharf, is located in the north gate of Zhongda, Binjiang Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou city. It was renamed Zhongda Wharf in 1952. Dr. Sun Yat Sen has made three speeches to Lingnan University by boat, all of which landed on the wharf of the current CUHK. The current Zhongda wharf was rebuilt in 2002 when the north gate of Zhongda was renovated.

Suddenly, the Pearl flew up and fell into the river. Later, the Pearl turned into a huge stone, shining, and people called it "Pearl River" of Haizhu island.
