Pingxifu
Hongxi (1694-1742) was the second son of Prince Yinren and the eldest grandson of Emperor Kangxi. Yinren was first established as the crown prince, then abolished, and was granted the title of Prince Li mi after his death. On the second day of his grandfather's death in 1722, Emperor Yongzheng granted him the title of county king, adding up to the rank of king of doroli county. In May of the first year of Yongzheng, Hongxi, the emperor of Yongzheng, was ordered to move to zhengjiazhuang Palace (Pingxi Palace) in Changping, which had been completed in the last years of Kangxi. From then on, Hongxi lived here and was detained for 17 years until the fourth year of Qianlong.
Pingxifu is located in the southeast of Changping District, Beijing. There is pingxifu station on the connecting line of Beijing Metro Changping line and Beijing Metro Line 8.
"The palace of the king in Beijing" states: "during the reign of Kangxi, Prince Yunren was abolished twice and lived and imprisoned in Shangsi courtyard and Xian'an palace successively. In his later years, Kangxi built a city in the south of zhengjiazhuang village in Changping in order to accommodate the sons and grandchildren of Yunren and many servants. In the first year of Yongzheng (1723), Hongxi, the second son of Yunren, was granted the title of Prince Li. In May, he was allowed to live in zhengjiazhuang city. In 1728, Jin became prince. In the fourth year of Qianlong (1739), Hongxi was convicted and was removed from the city. In December, he removed the imperial clan and banned it in the orchard on the east side of Jingshan. "
Pingxifu only existed as a royal residence for 17 years. Later, the garrison of pingxifu was transferred to other places. Pingxifu was demolished by the house of internal affairs, but it is still used as a place name.
In September 1999, the municipal government approved Changping county to abolish pingxifu town and Yandan Township and merge them into Beiqijia town.
