·The buildings named after the famous patriotic overseas Chinese Mr. Tan Kah Kee were designed by the teachers and students of the Department of architecture of Xiamen University.

Song en Lou (Jiageng III)

Songen building is No.3 building of Jiageng building group, and also the main building of Jiageng building group. It was built with the donation of famous Thai alumni Ding zhengzeng and Cai Yueshi. Its name is "Songen", which is intended to praise the kindness of the alma mater in rewarding and cultivating. The building is 21 storeys high, with a construction area of 21000 square meters. It was started in June 1998 and completed in April 2001. It is now used for office and teaching of the University and some research institutes. The towering building is not only a landmark building of the school, but also an important place for administrative services, teaching and scientific research.

Ode to Eun Lou Zhi

Baoxin Liying building (Jiageng I)

Baoxin Liying building is No.1 building of Jiageng building group, with a construction area of 6500 square meters and a total of 6 floors. It was started in June 1998 and completed in April 2001. It was built by Hong Kong Alumni Huang Baoxin and Wu Liying with a donation of more than 6.3 million yuan. It is now used for teaching and office work of the school of management. Mr. Huang Baoxin graduated from the Department of chemistry of our university in 1945. He is a famous entrepreneur and social activist in Hong Kong. He once served as a Hong Kong affairs consultant of the State Council and a member of the Preparatory Committee of the Preparatory Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In 1999, he was awarded the Bauhinia Medal of the highest honor by the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Chengfenglou (Jiageng II)

Chengfeng building is No.2 building of Jiageng building group, with a construction area of 6500 square meters and a total of 6 floors. It was started in June 1998 and completed in April 2001. It was built with the donation of 5.28 million yuan by Wu Dingji and Li zhixia, the overseas Chinese in Singapore. It is named after Li Chengfeng, the father of Ms. Li zhixia. It is now used for teaching and office work in the school of management.

Zuying building (Jiageng IV) Zuying building is No.4 building of Jiageng building group, with a construction area of 6500 square meters and a total of 6 floors. It was started in June 1998 and completed in April 2001. It was built with a donation of 4.32 million yuan from Mr. Hong Wenbing, an overseas Chinese from the Philippines, and named after his father Hong Zuying. Now it is the teaching and experimental place of the College of physics and mechanics.

Zhong Mingxuan building (Jiageng V)

Zhongmingxuan building is No.5 building of Jiageng building group, with a construction area of 6500 square meters and a total of 6 floors. It was started in June 1998 and completed in April 2001. Zhong Jianghai, Zhong Minghui, an overseas Chinese living in Hong Kong, Singapore and other places, and Zhong qionglin Kunzhong of Tiande Group jointly donated more than 7.4 million yuan to build it, named after his father. Now it is used as the center of modern education.
