Yingpan Miao Village

Yingpanzhai, located in lahao village, Duli Township, Fenghuang County, was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty and formed in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty. It was used by the ruling class of the feudal dynasty to suppress the Miao people and block all economic and trade exchanges between the Miao people and the Han people, which was the fundamental reason for the poverty and backwardness of the Miao areas.
