Firefly theme park

Firefly theme park is the first firefly theme park in China. It is located in Yiqing Valley, wenzeng Road, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Founded by Donglin electronics, it is the first firefly low-carbon environmental protection and energy conservation education base in China.

The park is composed of firefly environmental protection classroom, firefly ecological exhibition room and firefly viewing channel. Covering an area of 20 mu, the park has cultivated tens of thousands of fireflies through artificial breeding. Children must be accompanied by at least one Guardian. Children are not allowed to enter the park alone.

Park composition

In the firefly environmental protection classroom, children will watch an environmental protection video to learn about the growth process of fireflies from egg to larva and then to adult, as well as the impact of environmental degradation on fireflies. In the ecological exhibition room, children can touch Aquatic Fireflies with their hands. Then, under the guidance of firefly sister, the children enter the firefly viewing channel. There is no bright street lamp on this wooden plank road, only the weak red light on the sole of the foot indicates the direction. Walking in the passage, children can see the fireflies like stars on the branches, in the air and in the grass.

Opening Hours

According to reports, firefly theme park is open to children under the age of 16 free of charge from 7:30 to 9:30 every night, with a daily limit of 300 visitors. Advance booking is required.

It is reported that from June to October, fireflies are flourishing. Although the life cycle of each firefly is only 7 days, the person in charge of the park said that the number of fireflies in the valley will continue to increase through natural breeding of fireflies and certain artificial breeding, and visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of 10000 fireflies flying every night. In winter, the park will create an indoor environment suitable for fireflies, so that children can watch fireflies all year round.
