Fuqian square is located next to xinggongyuan community, Liangxiang Township, Fangshan District, Beijing. Because it is in front of Fangshan District government building, it is called Fuqian square.

brief introduction

Fuqian square is the largest green ecological square in Liangxiang new town invested by Fangshan District government, with a total area of 98400 square meters. The first phase of the project started in February 1999 and basically completed by the end of September, covering an area of 69400 square meters. The second phase of the project started in May 2000, covering an area of 29000 square meters. 45 species and 1443 plants of trees and shrubs such as Ginkgo biloba and Cedrus deodara were planted, with 68699 square meters of lawn, 1335 square meters of ribbon, 1895 square meters of perennial flowers and 34236 square meters of ground cover plants. 10985 meters of pipelines, 18285 square meters of roads and squares, 275 sets of lighting facilities, 312 sets of sprinkler irrigation facilities and 318 meters of arc-shaped wooden chairs are laid.

In 2003, Fangshan District government replanted large-scale trees in the square in order to implement the proposal of NPC deputies. The project started on April 16 and was officially completed on April 30, with an investment of about 1.2 million yuan. 270 large-scale shrubs such as cedar, gingko, Magnolia and cherry were planted, and 5969 square meters of color bands were planted. It enriches the plant species of the square and provides a good resting place for the masses.

Characteristic scenic spots

1. The square around the evergreen sculpture has become an important place for tourists to keep fit.

2. The second phase of Fuqian square has become an important fitness place for diabolo lovers.
