Beihe Park

Beihe park is located near Beihuan Road, LUANNAN COUNTY, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It is the only park in LUANNAN COUNTY.

Development history

Beihe River, also known as Xuanhe River, has a total length of 19 kilometers. Beihe green waterscape belt is an important part of the urban development framework of "one belt, one ring, two centers, two axes and three districts". In early 2008, LUANNAN county Party committee and government proposed that Beihe Park, Beihe bridge and Beihe ecological garden should be the pilot projects of Beihe new area. Beihe Park project has been designed by Beijing University of landscape architecture and is expected to be completed in October 2010. The high standard Beihe ecological garden covering an area of 2500 Mu was completed in May 2010. Beihe park has a total area of 88.3 hectares and a water area of 41.8 hectares, with a total investment of 150 million yuan.
