Riverbank Park

Riverbank park is a 0.3 km long strip park along the Bank of Xijiang River in Hedong District of Wuzhou City, covering an area of about 10 hectares.

Introduction to scenic spots

Before liberation, this area was full of potholes and rubbish. After liberation, after more than 30 years of renovation, a long dike with initial scale has been built. At the end of 1981, the riverbank Park was established to carry out greening and beautification. Stone walls were built to protect slopes, flower fences were built, roads were repaired, flower pools were added, garden chairs were installed, flowers and trees were planted all over the park, trees were like screens, the environment was quiet, skating rinks were set up in the entertainment area, and the rest area was dominated by shady scenic spots, with pavilions, corridors, bridges, sculptures, garden sketches, etc. Walking in the riverbank Park, there are many tall buildings on the opposite street. Outside the riverbank, the river is vast, thousands of boats are racing, and the sound of sirens is loud. You can see from afar. In the East, there is a Dragon Island standing in the middle stream. In the south, you can see the towering pagoda of Jinping Mountain.
