Datianchi

Datianchi is located at the top of Datianchi mountain, which is more than 900 meters above sea level in the northwest of Lushan Mountain. You can see Jiuqi peak in the south, Shimen stream in the down, bergamot rock in the East and Baiyun peak in the West. The big Tianchi Lake is the release pool of Tianchi temple. It is rectangular, with clear water and light as jade. Now Tianchi temple has been abandoned.

Datianchi

Datianchi is located on the top of Tianchi mountain in the northwest of Lushan Mountain, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. The pond is rectangular, with green water and jade like light. It was originally a free pond in Tianchi temple, which is the oldest temple on the top of Lushan Mountain. The danger of longshouya, the cloud of lingxu Pavilion and the Buddha light of Manjusri terrace can be called the "three wonders" of Datianchi.

Huizhi, a monk in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was founded, formerly known as Fengding temple. It was renamed tianchiyuan in Song Dynasty. Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty named it "Tianchi Huguo Temple". Ming Chengzu called "Wanshou temple in Tianchi" and Ming Guangzong called "Miaoji temple in Tianchi", so it was the first temple in kuanglu, and the latter temple was abandoned.

Main attractions

Manjusri terrace

In the west of the pool, there is a half moon shaped platform, named Manjusri platform. The platform is made of stone and wood with two floors. The lower layer is a stone room with five couplets, with doors and windows, which can be used as a living room. The top is the top of the hand, which is called the platform. When you look at it from the stage, you can see that the mountains are rising, the peaks are connected, and the waves are far away. It's the best place to observe the Buddha's light. One Pavilion in Taitung is called "Doumu Pavilion", also known as "laomu Pavilion". It was built in Ming Dynasty. It is of stone concrete structure with round and sharp top. The banner has "Xiangwang Zuting" seal cutting. On the column, there is a couplet written in official script: "Linyu remains to impeach the gray Famen, leaves the Buddha seat solemnly, and the new pavilion of petal fragrance Linwei stream has a box to protect the immortal.".

pagoda

There is a pagoda on the ridge of Tianchi mountain. The pagoda is a pavilion style stone pagoda, with five floors and six sides. The pagoda is shaped like a vase. It is more than 20 meters high. It was first built in the reign of Jianyan of Song Dynasty (1127-1130 AD) and was built by Han Fuzhou, the Prime Minister of Song Dynasty. The present tower was rebuilt by Tang Shengzhi in 1927. There are silver Buddha statues, song coins and crystal beads in the tower.

Round Buddha Hall

Another round Buddha Hall with a diameter of 16 meters and an umbrella top, named round Buddha Hall, lies on the ridge with the pagoda. Built in 1926, the hall was originally five doors, each with a Buddha statue inside, so it is also called five Buddha circle. After the Buddha statue was destroyed, the surrounding area was changed into a window. It is said that Tang Shengzhi built a Buddhist temple for his mother.

Tianxintai

There is a stone platform in the west of Tianchi tower, which is named Tianxin platform. It contains the idea of heaven and mind. It was built by Lin Sen in the Republic of China.

Zhaojiang cliff

Under the stage is a huge lying stone, smooth as a mirror, engraved with the words "Zhaojiang cliff".
