The intellectual property Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the intellectual property bureau or the intellectual property bureau) was formerly the "national registration bureau" established in 1927. It is the competent authority of the trademark law, copyright law, patent law and business secret law, and is responsible for the intellectual property rights and business secret matters such as trademarks, works and patents in Taiwan.
