Guganglou was built in the 53rd year of the Republic of China. It has blue tiles and red walls, which are antique. It was originally built by Mr. Zhuang Wunan, a Tamsui painter, temple expert and antiquities collector, after the cemetery on the North Bank of gugang lake was demolished by former President Jiang Gong because he loved the place.
