Xiangying Park, located in Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, was built in 1949 with an area of 146000 square meters, of which the Jinzhou Park (also known as artificial lake) with a water surface of 43000 square meters was renamed "Xiangying Park" in 1989, and its name was inscribed by Wang Zhen.

Introduction to the park

Just after the Lantern Festival in 2012, the landscape reconstruction project of Xiangying Park began in the roar of machines. As a key livelihood project in 12 years, the landscape reconstruction project of Xiangying park with an investment of 100 million yuan will be completed by the end of May. At that time, the park will present a new look to the public.

Xiangying Park, located in the old city of Jinzhou, has always been the main place for nearby residents. However, due to the earlier construction time, small planning area, obsolete infrastructure, local vegetation degradation, serious damage of some pavement facilities and other problems are increasingly prominent, especially the surrounding second-hand market and shanty towns, which affect the park environment.
