Fuyou temple was built during the reign of emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty. It was the place where Xuanye, the emperor of the Qing Dynasty, avoided acne. In the first year of Yongzheng, it was planned to give Prince Bao (Emperor Qianlong) Hongli as a private place. Hongli did not move in. After he ascended the throne, it was changed into a lama temple, named Fuyou temple. Later generations have rebuilt it several times. The temple faces south to the north and the outer gate to the West. The whole temple has three entrances. The gate is three rooms wide, with yellow glazed tiles on the top of the hill. It is a cultural relic protection unit. In 1927, it was changed into the office of Panchen in Peking. After 1980, he worked as the Beijing Office of Panchen Lama.
