God of wealth Bay

Caishen Bay is a collection of characteristic buildings in the water town, including halls, galleries, water pavilions, and various kinds of buildings. The scattered residential communities extend the secluded ancient streets, and the galleries and water pavilions are connected with the blue water and blue sky, giving a panoramic view of the water town.

In the hall of the God of wealth, there is a statue of the God of wealth the size of a man. It is the God of wealth on the East Road of Wuzhen. Originally, he was Prime Minister Bigan. This is a special god of wealth. Because he died from his heart, later generations praised him as selfless, and warned people that they should take benevolent wealth and not have too much selfishness. Every year on the fifth day of the first lunar month, local residents of Wuzhen come to the God of wealth hall to burn incense and pray.

Caishen Bay used to be called zhuanchuanwan. Due to the special water system of Wuzhen, it is in the shape of "ten". The narrower the river channel is, the more difficult it is for the boats to turn around. So the local people dug a pond here to build a place where the boats can turn around. At the same time, in order to distinguish it from the transshipment Bay in other places, it was named after the God of wealth hall nearby
