Shaolin Kung Fu is one of the famous martial arts schools in China. It has a long history and has a profound influence. It is an important part of traditional Chinese martial arts. The most prominent feature of Shaolin Kung Fu is "the unity of Zen and martial arts", that is to say, to practice martial arts and practice Zen, so it is also known as "martial arts Zen".

About 700 meters to the east of Shaolin Temple, Shaolin Temple Martial Arts Museum will have martial arts performances at fixed points every day, generally 1 hour, half an hour each time. There are two places for martial arts performance: one is outdoor performance, open-air performance, which is performed by students of local martial arts school; the other is the performance of martial arts hall, the only venue in Songshan Shaolin scenic area that specializes in Shaolin Kung Fu.

Traffic information: how to get to Shaolin Temple

1. Zhengzhou Shaolin Temple: Zhengzhou Bus Center Station (located at No. 14, Xinglong Street, Zhengzhou Railway Station Square). There are shuttle buses to Shaolin Temple from 6:30 to 11:40 every day. The departure interval is about half an hour, and the whole journey is 2 hours;

2. Luoyang Shaolin Temple: from Luoyang long distance passenger station (Daonan Road, Xigong District, Luoyang City, diagonally opposite to Luoyang Railway Station), take the bus to Dengfeng and Xuchang (running train), and get to Shaolin temple crossing in 1.5 hours. After getting off, you can buy a ticket to enter the scenic spot. The whole journey is about 2 hours;

3. Dengfeng Shaolin Temple: take bus No.8 (Dengfeng Shaolin Temple) from Dengfeng bus west station (located at 129 Zhongyue street, Dengfeng City) to Shaolin Temple, the whole journey is about 30 minutes
