Taicang modern agricultural park is located in the Middle East of Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, at the junction of Yuewang in Shaxi Town and pailou in Fuqiao town. It is 50km away from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and 18km away from Taicang City. It is only 4km away from Yuewang exit of Huyi Expressway (sukuntai). Covering an area of 8000 mu, the scenic spot has a beautiful environment. It is a leisure resort with the concept of "green, ecology, science and technology, humanities" and modern agricultural characteristics. Development history

Taicang modern agricultural park is an ecological, green, efficient and prosperous agricultural park set up for the development of modern agriculture and the integration of urban and rural areas in the 21st century. It is also a permanent agricultural development zone determined by our city. The park is located in the central and eastern part of the city with convenient transportation, with a total planning area of 35000 mu. It is divided into four functional areas: agricultural processing trade zone, characteristic agricultural innovation demonstration zone, agricultural industry incubation zone and ecological agricultural leisure and tourism zone. There are 25 projects with total investment of more than 600 million yuan and land circulation of nearly 6000 mu. After more than three years of construction, six characteristic leading industries have been formed: leisure and sightseeing agriculture, high-efficiency agriculture, science and technology agriculture, export-oriented agriculture and circular agriculture.

In recent years, the park has made full use of the advantages of the city along the Yangtze River and Shanghai, especially focusing on the introduction of ecological leisure and tourism projects. Through the government platform, five leisure and tourism projects have been settled in the park, with a total investment of nearly 500 million yuan. Especially in the past two years, the construction of the park has been accelerated in an all-round way. More than 60 million yuan has been invested in upgrading the road network, river channel, greening, landscape and other infrastructure in the core area; more than 200 million yuan has been invested in building a number of agricultural projects, including 6000 square meters of modern agriculture exhibition hall, 4600 square meters of flower and horticulture exhibition hall, EN Dian rose park, Rose Manor phase I, 20000 square meters of rare orchid greenhouse production base, ecological restaurant and so on With the integration of science and technology exhibition, ecological tourism, leisure vacation and business meeting, an agricultural ecological leisure resort has been formed to meet different levels of consumer demand. Since the first leisure and sightseeing agricultural park, Yanyang farm, opened in 2006, the park has received 200 batches of inspections from leaders at all levels of the Ministry, province and city, and received more than 700000 domestic and foreign tourists. In 2006, the park was listed as a provincial modern agricultural demonstration zone by the Provincial Department of agriculture and Forestry (now agricultural committee), in 2007, it was rated as an advanced unit of ecological leisure agriculture by Suzhou agriculture and Forestry Bureau (now agricultural committee), in 2008, it was rated as a provincial sightseeing agricultural park and a science and technology demonstration park by the Provincial Department of agriculture and forestry and the Department of science and technology, respectively. In 2009, the second China rose summit was successfully held, and endon rose park was identified as a Chinese garden The permanent host of China rose summit.

It has completed the interior and exterior decoration of the main buildings such as the exhibition center, reception center and entertainment castle of Rose Manor phase I with an area of more than 10000 square meters and the construction project of the Ecological Wetland Museum, which was opened to the public on April 29. It will also start the second phase project of Rose Manor and complete the basic projects such as road greening, water purification and lighting in the south of the park. At the same time, taking the municipal modern agricultural park as the leader, we should integrate the city's leisure tourism resources, make overall planning and packaging, increase external publicity and promotion, gradually enhance the overall image and influence of Taicang leisure agriculture, and strive to build the park into an important leisure and holiday base in the Yangtze River Delta region connecting with the World Expo and serving Shanghai.
