Five steps and three springs

Entering the Lingyan ancient temple, there are three springs under the southeast cliff of thousand Buddha Hall, which are zhuoxi spring, Shuanghe spring and Baihe spring. The finished products of the three springs are distributed in the shape of characters and are very close to each other. It is one of the Eight Sights of Lingyan.

Among the three springs, zhuoxi spring has the most abundant water. The clear spring gushes out from the cliff cave and gurgles. On the top of the cliff, zhuoxi spring is engraved with the word "zhuoxi spring" in red. This spring has abundant water and gushes all the year round without interruption due to drought or flood. Zhuoxi spring is Shuanghe spring in the West and Baihe spring in the south. Baihe spring is in the shape of a grotto under the cliff wall, and the spring flows out from the gap of the cave wall.
