Jingsiyuan

It is located 3 kilometers west of Tongli ancient town in Suzhou. It is the private garden of private entrepreneur Mr. Chen Jingen, covering an area of more than 100 mu. It was built in 1993 and took 10 years to complete. The name of the garden "Jingsi" means tranquil and distant. The architecture in the garden follows the context of Suzhou classical gardens. It has both the small and unique Suzhou gardens and the grand style of the royal gardens. There are heting bridge, xiaochuihong, Jingyuan hall, Tianxiang library, Pangshan thatched cottage, Sumen brick carving and bonsai garden, ancient scientists' stele Gallery, stone chanting poetry gallery and other scenic spots. These Lingbi stones, which were formed after the volcanic eruption magma cooled 500 million years ago, are well-known Chinese rare stones. They are hard and moist, with purple, black and gray colors. Their shapes include Guishou, Huxiao, Feima tengkong, Shiyue, Yingke pine, ziyunfeng, Granny Liu, etc.

In particular, Qingyun peak, the treasure of Jingsi garden, is 9.1 meters high and weighs 136 tons. It has more than 1600 holes, and all the holes are open. According to the research, it is a relic of Laokeng in Song Dynasty. In 2001, it set the Guinness record of Lingbi stone in the world.

Waterscape area

The classic building "heting bridge" divides the water area into two parts. The water is above and under the water, and the motion and the stillness are appropriate. There are many beautiful buildings in the scenic area, such as jiehongxuan, Santan yingyue, xiaopangshan and ruguifang.

Jingsi Temple

It is located in the east of the scenic spot. There are three turtle shaped Lingbi stones in the Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, bell tower and Fangsheng pool. There are also "Guanyin stone", "Buddha peak" and other Lingbi stone around, majestic and spectacular.
