Luoyang Animation Museum

Luoyang Museum of animation is China's first private museum with the theme of computer and animation. It is located in Luoyang, China's Millennium imperial capital.

It is composed of four parts: animation square, animation corridor, Animation Museum and animation sky garden. There are 14 exhibition halls with a total collection of animation stamps from 52 countries, historical materials of animation literature from 25 mainstream countries and regions, precious manuscripts of many animation masters and animation characters from various countries. In addition, the museum has four animation studios and a three-dimensional film experience hall. Visitors can experience the animation production process.

On April 20, 2014, Luoyang Animation Museum signed a letter of intent for free donation with Software College of University of river science, and famous entrepreneur Wang Changyi decided to donate Luoyang Animation Museum to Software College of University of river science. On July 2, 2014, the Software College of Hekou University began to implement the relocation construction of Luoyang Animation Museum, and on this basis, the animation professional education base of Hekou University was established. As of April 20, 2015, the construction work has been basically ready, Luoyang Animation Museum reopened.

The museum has 14 exhibition halls, including eight theme exhibition halls, four animation studios, a three-dimensional film experience hall and an activity exhibition area. Among them, eight theme exhibition halls mainly display the history of Chinese animation, the history of World Games, the history of world animation development, as well as the historical materials of national animation literature, animation stamps, master manuscripts and animation characters. The four animation studios are Two dimensional animation studio, three-dimensional animation studio, digital audio studio and post special effects studio show the whole process of animation production. You can understand the history of three-dimensional movies and watch three-dimensional movies in the three-dimensional movie hall.

Development history

On August 12, 2011, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the advent of personal computers, Mr. Wang Yong, a computer and animation expert, established the first private computer animation theme museum in Luoyang, Luoyang Animation Museum.

On October 26, 2012, Luoyang Animation Museum was approved by Henan Provincial Bureau of cultural relics. With the theme of computer and animation, it became the first private museum with the theme of computer and animation in China.

On July 2, 2014, the Software College of Hekou University began to implement the relocation construction of Luoyang Animation Museum, and on this basis, the animation professional education base of Hekou University was established. As of April 20, 2015, the construction work has been basically ready, Luoyang Animation Museum reopened.

Animation studio

The museum has set up four animation studios, where visitors can experience the whole process of animation creation, including the traditional two-dimensional animation production process, digital two-dimensional animation production process, three-dimensional animation process and animation dubbing, post special effects production process, etc., and can personally participate in: making their own animation, recording their own songs, making their own three-dimensional animation Movies and so on. In addition, the museum has also organized 10000 youth studios to encourage young people to set up their own studios with their families as a unit, break the shackles of zombie education, and cultivate their creative thinking, consciousness and ability.

Visitors can go along Xiyuan Road, Jianxi District, Luoyang City, and arrive at the north gate of Henan University of science and technology. The highest building on the west side can be entered by brushing the ID card.
