Dalian International Conference Center is located in Dalian Donggang business district and CBD core area. It has convenient transportation, complete peripheral services and more than 10 five-star and super five-star hotels in the planning area. It is the main venue of Summer Davos Forum in China and one of the top ten theaters in China.

The project covers an area of 4.3 hectares, with a total construction area of 146800 square meters and a height of 59 meters. It is invested and constructed by Dalian municipal government and operated and managed by poly Commercial Hotel Management Co., Ltd.

It is divided into hall, comprehensive service area, Grand Theater and conference hall, various small conference rooms and other functional areas.

Architectural design

The interior design company undertaking the project of Dalian International Conference Center is JA Jiangfeng design. It has undertaken the interior design of Beijing National Grand Theater, Shenzhen Citizen Center and other buildings. The whole interior design continues the architectural design of the conference center. The architectural design is completed by the blue sky group, which vividly reflects the geographical location of Dalian's mountains and sea and its implication for Dalian's natural harbor. The theme of "mountain and sea" runs through the whole architectural design. The interior design takes "sea" culture as the center to shape and beautify the interior space, adopts international design techniques, integrates traditional Chinese culture, and creates a perfect artistic and cultural space.

Architectural features

Dalian International Conference Center is jointly designed by the blue sky group of Austria, which has designed BMW world and the European Central Bank, and Dalian architectural design and Research Institute. The exterior wall and roof adopt double-layer curtain wall structure, the outdoor surface is perforated metal plate curtain wall, and the indoor surface is glass curtain or metal plate. Some people compare the construction difficulty of Dalian International Conference Center with Beijing's "bird's nest". Wolfgang hayd said that due to the different construction ages and the continuous development of technology, it is impossible to simply compare, but it is certain that this building is definitely one of the most difficult projects in the world.
