Yizhouting park is located in Tianning District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. There are Yizhou Pavilion, Dongpo xiyanchi and other ancient buildings in song and Qing Dynasties. It is said that Su Dongpo had been to Changzhou 11 times, and the boat was tied here, so people built Yizhou pavilion to commemorate him.

Yizhouting park is a garden in the south of the Yangtze River, which combines historical sites with natural scenery. In the Southern Song Dynasty, people in Changzhou built "Yizhou Pavilion" to commemorate Su Dongpo's coming to Changzhou and berthing boats there. Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong of Qing dynasty built Wanshou Pavilion and rebuilt Yizhou Pavilion during their southern tour. The site of yizhouting was originally named Wencheng dam. It is said that Changzhou has always been rich in people and culture. In order to keep the talent of Changzhou from flowing eastward, a dam was built on the ancient canal to make the river flow eastward around a big bend. Su Dongpo had been to Changzhou 11 times, and finally got old in Changzhou. In fact, there were only two times when he really went here. One time was in 1073, when he went from Hangzhou to Zhenjiang via Changzhou. He once stayed in the east suburb of Changzhou on New Year's Eve and wrote a poem "staying outside Changzhou on New Year's Eve". Another time was in 1101, when he returned from Hainan, he lived in the sun's house at the head of Gutang bridge. On the first day of his illness, the weather was muggy. In order to "quicken the wind and invigorate the water", he washed away the stagnant depression in his illness and went boating on the canal in the middle of the night.
