Hangzhou Zhijiang National Tourist Resort is one of the 12 national tourist resorts approved by the State Council in October 1992. It is located in the southwest of Hangzhou, with Qiantang River in the South and Wuyun mountain in the north, covering a total area of 9.88 square kilometers. There are three major theme projects of Songcheng, future world, Hangzhou West Lake International Golf Course and a number of holiday units such as Jiuxi rose garden.

The resort is located in Shangsi area, Xihu District, Hangzhou, with a total area of 26.66 square kilometers. The resort is adjacent to the West Lake scenic spot, with Qiantang River in the East and Longwu and Lingshan scenic spots in the West. On the periphery of the region, the southeast is facing the broad and majestic Qiantang River, and the northwest is hilly and mountainous. The current terrain is flat, less undulating and low.

The resort is located in the subtropical monsoon climate region, with the characteristics of mild and humid, abundant rainfall, sufficient light, cold winter and hot summer, four distinct seasons. The water quality of Qiantang River basically meets the class a water quality standard.
