Li Diaoyuan memorial hall is a municipal cultural relic protection unit in Deyang City. In memory of Li Diaoyuan, a famous writer, dramatist and poet in Qing Dynasty, it is an antique garden built on Yujing mountain, one of the eight sceneries of Luojiang. At present, the hall is used to display excellent books and paintings created by famous calligraphers and painters from all over the world in memory of Li Tiaoyuan for tourists to watch, and has been designated as the patriotic education base by Luojiang middle school.

Development history

Li Tiaoyuan memorial hall is an antique garden built by Luojiang people in 1988 to commemorate Li Tiaoyuan, a famous scholar of Li family in the Qing Dynasty, a famous writer, dramatist and poet. It has invested more than 600000 yuan to build on Yujing mountain, the head of the ancient Taiping Bridge. The first phase of the project was completed at the end of 1989, with a hexagonal pavilion 1, a Square Pavilion 2, and a double eaves corridor of 150 meters. There is also an ancient temple, formerly known as Baoming temple, which was built during the reign of emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty. It is said that it is a place for thirteen dignitaries to play. During the reign of emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty, it was renamed jingle palace. As a Taoist temple, it lasted until the founding of the people's Republic of China. The existing triple hall and east-west corridor are buildings built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. There is a remnant stele recording that Taoists Tan Zhizheng and Liu Xujing repaired jingle Palace during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. In 1990, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit in Shizhong District of Deyang City. Now, the main hall serves as the exhibition hall of books and paintings in memory of Li Diaoyuan. The excellent books and paintings created by famous calligraphers and painters from all over the world are on display at any time for tourists to watch. On April 1, 1994, it was announced as a municipal cultural relics protection unit by Deyang Municipal People's government. As early as 1995, it was designated as the patriotic education base by Luojiang middle school, and the school often organized teachers and students to visit and study.

Entrance sculpture

Wenshan Hanhai, a large-scale sculpture at the entrance of Li Diaoyuan memorial hall, is about 35 meters high and 72 meters long. It was built in huangshayan and consumed more than 3000 square meters. The four heads from top to bottom are Li Diaoyuan, Li Dingyuan, Li Jiyuan and Li Huanan (father of Li Diaoyuan). Li Tiaoyuan was willing to associate with him and became a close friend. He often went to Yujing mountain to talk with Liu Xujing about poetry and thesis, and even liked to hear Liu Xujing play the piano. There are many poems in Diaoyuan, which record the elegant things of listening to Qin. Li Diaoyuan's immortal poems and Taoist Liu's friendship add to Yujing mountain.
