East Lake Luoyan scenic spot

East Lake Luoyan scenic spot is an important part of the national 5A East Lake scenic spot. It is adjacent to Baima scenic spot in the north, facing Moshan scenic spot across the lake in the South and QingWang highway in the East. The total planning area is 10.24 square kilometers, including 5.92 square kilometers of land and 4.32 square kilometers of water. Since 2000, the administration of East Lake scenic area has developed and constructed the natural ecological park of Luoyan scenic area by using the funds of the third phase of tourism bonds. It has successively built eight landscapes, including Qinghe ancient bridge, magpie bridge meeting, Yanzhou cable bridge, Luzhou ancient ferry, Zhao's garden, ancient tree wonders, yanqipingsha, Luzhou Luoyan, etc. With a total area of 345 mu, the natural ecological park is composed of four peninsulas extending into the water. The park has luxuriant vegetation, windy forests, crisscross harbors and branches, and numerous waterfowls. The unique natural scenery of the East Lake scenic spot has created its beautiful ecological environment and landscape. At the same time, a number of sculptures and buildings reflecting the folk culture and history of Chu have been built in the park, which makes you return to the natural beauty when enjoying the beautiful scenery However, at the same time, we walk into the historical corridor to appreciate the classics of Chu folk culture.

Main attractions

Qinghe ancient bridge

It is 150 meters long and 9 meters wide, like a rainbow running between Moshan scenic spot and Luoyan scenic spot. At the end of the bridge stands a bronze statue of yangyouji, the archer of the state of Chu.

Meet at magpie bridge

Located between wulongzui and changzui in Luoyan scenic area, the magpie bridge takes the love legend of Niulang and Zhinu as the theme. The bridge is 77 meters long,

It is 4.8 meters wide and has 999 magpies carved on the bridge deck.

Yanzhou cable bridge

The bridge is 120 meters long and 2 meters wide. It is the main road from wulongzui to guanzhongzui. The wooden board is laid on the iron chain to form the bridge deck. The iron cables on both sides are handrails. Under the bridge is Tuanhe.

Zhao's garden

Located in wulongzui, it was built by Zhao zongtao, a businessman from Guangdong Province in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. He once lived in his concubine.

Luzhou ancient ferry

When Zhao zongtao visited his concubine in those years, he always got on the boat from the ferry in Guanzhong Tsui and then ferried to "Zhao's garden" in Wulong Tsui. There was a sailing boat about ten meters long at the ancient ferry.

Wonders of ancient trees

Separated from Zhao's garden, the ancient and famous trees garden covers an area of 320 mu. It is planted with more than 70 kinds of flowers and trees, such as Osmanthus fragrans, plum blossom, cedar, Magnolia grandiflora and Ginkgo biloba. There are more than 100 famous trees over 100 years old.

Yanqipingsha

There is a large lawn in wulongzui. There is a natural boulder on the lawn, which looks like two geese inhabiting here. Hence the name "yanqipingsha".

Wild geese in Luzhou

Wulongzui and guanzhongzui in Luoyan scenic area form a peninsula in the center of the lake. The environment on the peninsula is quiet. The tall Taxodium and Metasequoia become a paradise for geese, wild ducks and egrets.

All year round, no matter which season you come here, you will find different surprises. Green grass, dense forest, long cable bridge, hunting Luzhou, flocks of wild geese in the sky, wild ducks playing on the water, lobster agile at the bottom of the water, and wild rhombus dense on the water will make you realize the harmony of nature and make you feel relaxed and happy.

Wulongtan

Wulongtan is located at the bottom of Donggu mountain. The two mountains face each other. In the middle is a secluded stream with green trees and shade. There are a row of huge rocks more than 10 meters high on the pool, which are mixed with each other to form a waterfall bed. The spring comes from the water of changchong and Lulin, which flows continuously all the year round. Five strands of water float down from the crevices, just like five brilliant silver shuttles slanting in front of the cliff. The lower part of the pool is flat and not deep, and the river is clear. It is a good place to watch the waterfall. The stone beside the pool is engraved with the word "Longquan". It is said that there is an Oolong in the pool. He has a gentle temperament. He practices kindness and is willing to give help. Every time there is a drought, he sprays clouds and fog for the mountain forest and drips rain. Therefore, he is deeply respected by the people. Every year on June 6 of the lunar calendar, the mountain people come here to offer sacrifices.

Wulongjing

Wulong ancient well is located in the middle of wulongzui in Luoyan scenic area. It is said that it was the drinking place for the officers and soldiers when King Zhuang of Chu calmed down the rebellion of the rebellious minister Dou Yuejiao. The well is six feet deep, and the spring is in the gap between the black stones at the bottom. The water is sweet and refreshing. No matter how dry and rainy the day is, the water level is always the same. When the water is still, the lake surface is not bright, and when the water is moving, the lake surface is rough. So it is said that the well is the eye of the black dragon. It is said that when Zhao zongtao, the comprador of the seven kingdoms, chose to build Zhao's garden here at that time, he decided to build a house, take concubines and take a vacation here because of the inexhaustible ancient well. Zhao's third aunt often decorates the spring here to pray for the safety of Mr. Zhao.

There are four routes for tourists to Luoyan scenic spot:

From ezui, you can take the tour boat to guanzhongzui wharf to buy tickets;

Self driving from Liyuan to Luoyan scenic spot via beach bathing beach, ezui, huangjiadawan, gongjialing and Zhangjiapu;

Take bus No.20, 201, 515, 525 to Zhangjiapu. Tourists in Wuchang District and Hongshan district must take bus no.515 to Zhangjiapu, walk 2-3km southward along QingWang highway, pass through Wuhan Guangzhou high speed railway tunnel in the south of Wuhan EMU maintenance base (there is a huge "CRH" sign on the upper floor), and then under the third ring bridge to reach the north gate of the scenic spot;

Take bus No.513 and get off at Luoyan scenic spot station, QingWang road

After visiting Moshan scenic spot, from Qinghe bridge beside the temple of heaven in the suburb of Liubei to the South Gate of the scenic spot.

Tickets for scenic spots
