Huangshui Scenic Area
Huangshui scenic spot is located in Huangshui Town, Shizhu County, covering an area of 117.5 square kilometers. It was announced as a municipal scenic spot in 2000. Huangshui town is 60km away from Nanbin town of Shizhu County and 260km away from Chongqing highway. It is a mountain type scenic spot with natural forest landscape as the main body, integrating streams, lakes and Tujia folk culture. The highest altitude is 1934 meters, the lowest is 750 meters, and the annual average temperature is 12.1 ℃. It is the famous hometown of Coptis chinensis in China. There are No.1 Metasequoia glyptostroboides (DBH 1.6m), Taxus chinensis, Davidia involucrata, clouded leopard and other national protected animals and plants. The original forest area of Dafengbao is 1500 hectares.
