Shi Yunxuan Academy

Shiyunxuan academy, a building in changjiazhuang garden, is the largest Academy in China. Shiyunxuan academy is located in the middle of Beichang back street. It is a garden style building. It is also a study hall for Chang Jiaxuan to paint poems, cultivate sentiment and cultivate his family.

Scenic spot description

Located in the middle of the long street, the academy is a garden style building. Its layout is divided into three parts: the east side courtyard is one of Chang's 17 private schools, the main hall of the inner courtyard has ten rooms, which are divided into one bright room and two dark rooms with partition fans; the front side courtyard has three rooms for students to meet guests, read books, read manuscripts and visit teachers; and the two rooms on both sides are for teachers' daily life. There are five main halls and five West Wing rooms in the outer courtyard, all of which are for teachers to teach. The eastern chamber is the kitchen of my husband, where the bookboy and chef also stay. A small courtyard in the west is the only Academy of Chang Linshu, the master of Yanghe hall and the only Jinshi of Chang family. There are only four main rooms and three West rooms in this hospital. The main room is used for reception and rest, while the west room is used for reading, poetry and painting. Chang Lin wrote 56 books in his life. Many of the manuscripts were completed in this small library. Linshu word about Zhai, is the name of the small academy Zhai. After Yue Zhai is the double eaves "Hua Yu" Pavilion protected by pine forest. It is said that Confucius annotated the classics, the book of filial piety was completed, and three feet of topaz hung down from the sky to celebrate. When the pavilion was built after the Zhai, it had its own moral meaning of encouraging its sages.

The academy is composed of the East and West courtyards and the front main building, although it is divided into three courtyards. On the whole, they are connected. The front courtyard is composed of four pavilions and three corridors. The East corridor is "tingyulou calligraphy", the west corridor is "Chang's precious ink calligraphy", and the front corridor is "shiyunxuan calligraphy". Shi Yunxuan's calligraphy is followed by Yubi pavilion's 44 emperor's calligraphy, all of which are of high artistic taste and cultural relic value.

The main building on the front of the academy is a seven Bay two-story "listening to the rain building", which takes Li Shangyin's artistic conception of "leaving the remnant lotus to listen to the sound of the rain". It is a place for the children of the Chang family to write poems and paintings and study historical books.

Vase stone

Because of Shi Yunxuan academy, two vases were used instead of male and female stone lions. Because the academy is a place for self-cultivation, two vases carved with blue stones are placed to hold stones. There are two pairs of young lions carved on the vase, and the vase body is carved with lotus and grass patterns. In front stands the good fortune boy, the bottom is xumizuo.

Lingbi stone

Lingbi stone is one of China's four major ornamental stones. Shiyunxuan academy used it as a screen wall for its "spirit".

Fang ZhengChi

Fangzheng pool is located in the middle of the front yard of shiyunxuan Academy. The shape of Fangzheng pool reflects the thought of Fangzheng.

Shi Yunxuan's Calligraphy

Shi Yunxuan's calligraphy was written by Du Datong during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. A total of 33 groups, 127 pieces, a stone word. The material is white marble. Above and below are Du Datong's imitation of Yan, Liu kaishu and his own cursive "preface to Lanting". In the middle is the cursive script written by Du Datong. Named after Shi Yunxuan, it shows the love of Chang family manor.

Calligraphy of Tingyu building

The Sutra of Tingyu building is located in the East corridor of shiyunxuan academy, about 10 Zhang long. It was originally carved by sun Fuchang of Taigu, Shanxi Province during the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty. Later, it was bought back by Changjia manor in Guangxu period. The whole book is divided into four volumes, with 224 cubic meters of stone. It collects the works of more than 50 calligraphers from the Tang Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty.

Chang's Calligraphy

The calligraphy and calligraphy of Chang's calligraphy are written and collected by the descendants of Chang's manor. Many well preserved treasures.
