Shili Gold Coast is the best beach in North China. In May 2001, the resort completed the renovation and expansion of the original coast. The Gold Coast stretches 4.5km and is 100-200m wide. It is the largest in the north and can accommodate 100000 people at the same time.

High pole square lights are added on the beach to form a night light bathing place (open until 10 p.m.). Along the bathing beach, a high standard coastal sightseeing road has been built, which starts from Jinshi International Convention Center in the West and ends at Jinshi Golf Club in the East, with a total length of 12.8 km. Different from the coastal road in the city, this road is close to the sea, which is a coastal and sea friendly sightseeing road. In addition to the traditional "bathing in the sea", the amusement projects also include diving, windsurfing, fishing, interesting sand sculpture competition, beach motorcycle, beach volleyball, beach football, etc., which can be called "the base camp of sea sports". The beach bonfire barbecue, newly developed "yachting, shore scenery, wild dolphin watching" and "giant simulated whale" add a lot of mystery and charm to the beach Romance.

This is the first healthy bathing beach in China to use all anti ultraviolet facilities. There are thousands of beach pavilions, tents, parasols, or roofs made of pollution-free grass, or sunspot proof materials.

The sand of Shili coast is golden, and the particles are uniform. The water quality of the bathing beach belongs to the first class sea area, which is better than that of the bathing beach in the central area of Dalian. In August 1999, when former President Jiang Zemin visited Dalian, he visited Jinshitan in person and swam in the sea at the current state guest bathhouse, and inscribed "Dalian Jinshitan" for Jinshitan.
