Gonghua city is the place where the Ming Dynasty emperor went to the north and visited the mausoleum. City Protected Historic Site. In 1421, Emperor Zhu Di moved his capital to Beijing, where he built a palace to serve as a place for the emperor to visit the mausoleum and his descendants to visit the mausoleum. In 1436, the palace was destroyed by water. In 1537, Emperor Shizong was stationed in Shahe, and Yan Song, the Minister of rites, invited him to build the city and the palace to defend himself. In the 17th year of Jiajing, construction began and was completed in the 19th year. The center of the city is the palace, with a length of 1000 meters from the north to the South and from the east to the West. There are four gates: Fujing in the south, zhansi in the north, zhenliao in the East and Weimo in the West
