Longtan River, Shiyan

Longtan River scenic area is located in the North Bank of the middle and upper reaches of Hanjiang River, at the foot of Yangwei mountain, a branch of Qinling Mountains, within the territory of Yangwei Town, Yunxi County, Hubei Province. It is 50km away from Yunxi County in the East, 16km away from Baihe County in Shaanxi Province in the West and Hanjiang River in the south. The scenic spot is composed of Longtan River and Hubao gorge, 20 kilometers long from east to west and 12 kilometers wide from south to north. The main landscapes are: yixiantian, undersea Dragon Palace, Gongye ancient residence, Longwang temple, longtouxiang, Chuanlong cave, Longquan eye and peacock waterfall.

Longtan River scenic area consists of four areas: Hanjiang beach passion area, folk custom experience area, waterfall adventure area and Xiandao culture health preservation area.
