Taishan art museum was founded in 1998. The new museum is located at 116 Bixia street, Tai'an City, with a total construction area of 12000 square meters. It was put into use on May 19, 2013. It has four exhibition halls, with a main exhibition hall area of 2400 square meters and Exhibition line of 380 meters. It can undertake all kinds of large-scale exhibitions. Taishan art museum is also the teaching and sketching base of the National Academy of painting of China. It makes full use of this resource advantage to provide a comprehensive and perfect service system integrating teaching, sketching, creation and Exhibition for the students of the eight art academies, the National Academy of painting of China and the Chinese Academy of art. Since its establishment, the museum has successfully held dozens of national large-scale art creation activities, such as a visit to Mount Tai, the source of art, the creation exhibition of Mount Tai theme poems of Shen Peng's calligraphy elite class, Mount Tai Art Forum, Mount Tai calligraphy forum, hundred landscape and hundred scenery of Mount Tai.

Taishan art museum is located in the eastern cultural area at the foot of Taishan Mountain, with a total construction area of 12000 square meters. The exhibition facilities are professional, simple and lively. There are four exhibition halls, the main exhibition hall is 2400 square meters, and the exhibition line is 380 meters. The first floor of the art museum is the museum area, where you can enjoy the four famous inkstones, famous purple sand products, handmade Xuan paper and fine ceramic art. Walking along it makes people feel as if they are wandering in the long river of Chinese culture and history.

Taishan Art Museum sketching base is also the only teaching sketching base approved by the National Academy of painting of China - Taishan teaching sketching base of the National Academy of painting of China. It is located in the main road of Mount Tai mountain climbing, where Confucius ascended. It is a pleasant place with towering ancient trees, elegant environment and quiet atmosphere. It is used to receive artists to come to Mount Tai for wind collection, creation and leisure tourism. Supporting facilities: teaching base in eastern mountainous area, covering an area of more than 1000 mu. The famous calligraphers of the 21st century in the teaching base, such as stone carving garden, listening to Songgu, enjoying tea, Shiquan and listening to stream, are also excellent places for leisure creation. It provides artists with a perfect sketching place, and opens up a new concept of cultural leisure and cultural health for high-end people.

First curator

Zhang Chuanzhi, the first director of Taishan Art Museum, female, was born in Tai'an City, Shandong Province on April 10, 1958. She graduated from Zhengzhou Coal Management College and graduated from the Art College of Peking University.

Currently, he is the director of Taishan Art Museum, director of Taishan sketch teaching base of National Academy of painting, chairman of Taian collectors association, and chief editor of Taishan art. In 2009, he was employed by Peking University as the project director of the Institute of cultural industry, and in 2011, he was employed by the school of management of Shandong University as a part-time tutor for postgraduates.

Collection works

Since its establishment 13 years ago, Taishan Art Museum has collected a large number of works of famous calligraphers and painters in China. For example, Yu Youren, qigong, Shen Peng, Liu Wenxi, Long Rui, Liu Dawei, Fan Yang and Du Ziling all created fine works for the museum.
