Yanguan town in Haining City is a famous scenic spot for watching qianjiangchao. It has rich historical and cultural connotations. The "prime minister's mansion style block" is located in xiaodongmenzhi street of Yanguan. It is a millennium old street with the prime minister's mansion of Qing Dynasty as the main scenery. The ancient street from east to west, 600 meters long, is distributed in the main cultural landscapes of Chen GE's old house, Yang Bing house, Zheng Xiaocang's former residence, Town God's Temple, five soil temple, and many old houses and shops. In 2002, Haining City invited relevant experts to plan and design the protection and development of this ancient street. At the same time, it decided to invest more than 40 million yuan to transform it into a pedestrian block characterized by the ancient streets and lanes of Ming and Qing Dynasties, with the prime minister's residence, traditional commerce and residential culture of Qing Dynasty as its connotation, integrating tourism, shopping and entertainment.

After the reconstruction, the block covers an area of 218 mu, with a construction area of 14589.31 square meters. The cultural and historical streetscape such as "city building", "teahouse" and "Yimiao" has been restored, and it has been connected into a special street full of Jiangnan charm and historical culture.

The unique moat take on an altogether new aspect. The moat, tower and suspension bridge are quietly appearing in the small east gate. The traditional shops in Town God's Temple, memorial archway and the two sides are showing simple customs. More than 1600 square meters of "Ai RI Tang" and opera house have been restored in Chen GE's old house, adding a quiet ancient charm to this prime minister's mansion of the Qing Dynasty. After the restoration of the old style and features, the ancient street will be integrated with other tourist attractions, such as tide watching along the river and Wang Guowei's former residence, and become another highlight of Haining tourism.

The prime minister's mansion style street is a cultural street with profound history and culture, which reproduces the water town style. The block consists of four major blocks: the towers, suspension bridges, points and platforms, and arsenals, which constitute the urban area. The corridor bridges, teahouses, and grain rest make up the teahouse district; the old blocks of Chen Ge, Yang Bing house and Zheng Xiaocang's former residence constitute a cultural block; and the traditional commercial buildings on both sides of Town God's Temple constitute the Yim Temple block. The block integrates the former residences of celebrities, bureaucrat mansions, ancient temple of City God, traditional shops and characteristic dwellings. It has a long history and unique customs.
