Zhanshan revolutionary martyrs memorial hall

On the south slope of Zhanshan, 6 Zhiquan road. It was built in 1978 and opened on April 1, 1982, covering an area of 53.79 mu.

The main buildings are Memorial Hall of martyrs, group sculptures of revolutionary martyrs, exhibition hall of martyrs' deeds, which are distributed in the shape of "pin". The memorial hall has a beautiful environment, surrounded by pines and cypresses, flowers and trees, and a wide square. It is an important place to carry out revolutionary traditional education, and also an important tourist attraction.

In 2001, a large-scale maintenance was carried out. The repaired exhibition hall is divided into three parts according to its functions: the first exhibition hall mainly displays the deeds of the martyrs who died in Qingdao from the first revolutionary war to the liberation war; the second exhibition hall mainly displays the deeds of the revolutionary martyrs who have emerged since the liberation of Qingdao; and the third exhibition hall shows the great changes that have taken place in Qingdao since the reform and opening up.

After maintenance and renovation, the memorial hall has set up a new electronic touch screen and audio-visual control scene, which can receive more than 30000 visitors every day.

Xingguo revolutionary martyrs memorial hall

Located next to Wufu square in Xingguo County, there are Memorial Pavilion, monument, memorial square, exhibition hall, shuilianchi and other buildings. Founded in 1950, the exhibition hall is composed of a foyer, a mourning hall and five exhibition halls, covering an area of 1442.2 square meters. According to the chronological order, it focuses on the display of more than 130 historical relics and precious cultural relics of famous revolutionary martyrs who have important influence in the country. It also has the famous sculptures of Ma qiantuogu, rather die than surrender, laundryman, Jiang Shanzhong jumping off a cliff, crossing snow mountain, etc In the middle is a group sculpture of heroes. The corridor is full of Steles engraved with the names of 23179 martyrs in the county. In 1995, the museum was listed as the national patriotism education base. In 1996, it was approved by the State Council as "the third batch of national key revolutionary martyrs memorial building protection unit". From 1996 to 2002, party and state leaders Jiang Zemin, Li Peng and Li Ruihuan visited the memorial hall of revolutionary martyrs and laid wreaths to the martyrs.
