Haining Museum

Haining Museum, located in the west side of Xiashi crape myrtle, was established in June 1958. The museum's collection of more than 6000 pieces, from the Majiabang culture of the Neolithic age, includes more than 20 categories of ceramics, jade, calligraphy and painting, with rich levels and complete structure, especially porcelain and jade.

Development history

Haining Museum, founded in 1958. The main work is to collect and display cultural relics, promote national culture (cultural relics collection, identification, registration, restoration, preservation, cultural relics exhibition, cultural relics reproduction and restoration, cultural relics and related research, cultural relics publicity and Publication) (related cultural relics industry management), subordinate to the scenic spot management and opening work of Xu Zhimo's former residence, Yanfen thatched cottage, Shi Dongshan's former residence and Jin Yong's former residence.

Haining museum is a local comprehensive museum, which integrates history, art and humanities. It is also a national AA tourist spot, a civilized unit of Jiaxing City, a patriotism education base of Zhejiang Province, a popular science education base of Jiaxing City, and a demonstration post of Jiaxing women's civilization. The Museum covers an area of about 7 mu, with a total construction area of nearly 5000 square meters.

"Moving China - People's scientist Qian Xuesen's patriotic achievement exhibition and" Shenzhou 7 "science popularization Exhibition" held by the museum won the "most popular Award" in 2010 Zhejiang exhibition selection, and the "Xiashi lantern" exhibition won the "excellent award" in 2011 Zhejiang exhibition selection.

Collection

There are more than 6000 cultural relics in the collection, including pottery, porcelain, jade, stone tools, bronzes, calligraphy and painting, etc., which are inherited from the Majiabang culture of the Neolithic age, of which 1752 are precious cultural relics above grade 3.

architectural composition

There are four special exhibition halls in the museum, namely, the fine art hall, the painting and calligraphy hall, the lantern color hall and the dinosaur hall, displaying the basic exhibitions of "the brilliance of cultural relics - collection fine art exhibition" and "Xiashi lantern color". There is a temporary exhibition hall on the first floor to carry out academic exchanges and interlibrary exchanges from time to time, and hold temporary exhibitions of various types and themes.
