Camp one

The first camp is 1940 meters above sea level, and the vegetation landscape is mainly Taxus forest. The famous Gongga Shentang hot spring is located in the area from the Mountain Gate of the scenic spot to the ticket gate of No.1 camp. It is also the only place for hot spring and accommodation in the scenic spot (but it does not belong to the scope of the formal scenic spot).

The primeval forest here is one of the five wonders of Hailuogou, with an area of more than 70 square kilometers. It is one of the areas with the most ancient and primitive biological species preserved in China. Walking slowly along the mountain road around you, you can clearly feel the endless changes of the plant landscape around you, from the palm trees and green bamboo forests in the valley to the towering ancient trees in the virgin forest, the vast wild rhododendrons with brilliant flowers, to the colorful herbaceous wild flowers and lichen vegetation in the high sea. There are more than 400 kinds of wild animals here, including 28 precious animals under state protection. They travel through valleys and virgin forests. Although there are some ferocious bears and wild boars, as long as people do not take the initiative to hurt them, they will not attack people.

There is no shuttle bus from Kangding to Hailuogou. The whole journey is about 100 km. Both roads are made of cement (asphalt). There are two routes to choose from

1. Kangding Luding (Luding Bridge) - Hailuogou, 102 km long

2. Kangding - yajiageng (yajiaqinghai) - Hailuogou, with a highway mileage of 76 km

After entering the scenic spot, you can take the scenic spot sightseeing bus
