Langqi Village

Langqi village is located in Yutian Town, Changle District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It used to belong to shaohuili, Fujian county. It has five natural villages: Langqi, Xincuo, Shanwei, qianting and laoziyang. There are 962 households and 3455 people in the village. The total area is about 2.7 square kilometers, including more than 1400 mu of cultivated land and more than 900 mu of forest land.

Location agriculture

The village is adjacent to the main peak of Langqi mountain in the west, Shanwei and qianting in the northeast, which are connected with Langfeng zhaiyuan natural village. In the southeast, there is a plain in front of the village, and shangdongjiang River, a tributary of Minjiang River, flows around the village. The river network is convenient for water transportation, and the land is fertile. After liberation, water conservancy was built and the mountain areas were leveled, so that the paddy fields could be kept dry and waterlogged. Near the mountain garden, we can grow onion, beans, garlic and other vegetables. Peach, plum and other fruit trees are planted in large mountainous areas.

Village buildings

Yongrui temple is a historic site in the village. It is located on the top of the main peak of Langqi mountain in the north of the village. It is said that it was built during the Five Dynasties. It has two entrances, four fans and three pillars. There is a small patio in front of the hall. There is an entrance hall and a ring corridor on both sides to worship the wulinggong. The existing temple was rebuilt in the first year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu. In 2003, villagers spontaneously raised funds to renovate it. There are also Town God's Temple, the nine temple, the king's temple, the song temple, the third Hall of loyalty and the ancestral hall of Chen Clan in eastern Guangdong.
