Wuleishan scenic spot is a national 3A level scenic spot and a provincial scenic spot in Zhejiang Province. It is a scenic spot characterized by Buddhist culture and natural scenery. It is located in Guanhaiwei town, Cixi, with convenient transportation and only 10 kilometers away from the exit of Shenhai expressway.

Wulei mountain scenic spot is known as "little peach garden". As early as the Song Dynasty, it was a famous scenic spot in Zhejiang Province. It is deep, secluded, strange and precipitous. It is a good place to return to nature and move towards green mountains and waters.

The scenic spot is composed of wuleishuo temple, lotus garden and cangyunxi. Ancient temple, blue lake, secluded valley and Qingxi are its four characteristics. Wulei mountain, full of aura, will leave you the feeling of "clearly going to Taoyuan, separating the dust from the cave".

From the date of resumption of opening up to December 31, it will be open free of charge to medical staff with valid certificates (doctor's practice certificate, nurse's practice certificate and ID card).

Main attractions

Wuleishan scenic spot has the earliest temple in Zhejiang, wuleishuo temple, Qifeng grotesque stone, sanshimen, xiaoshicheng, etc., unique springs like eye spring and immortal well, and Bailongtan waterfall with an extraordinary drop of 70 meters. There are towering ancient trees in the area. There are 45 trees more than 100 years old, including precious thousand year old maple, jinqiansong, itching tree, Dalbergia, gingko, etc.

Wulei Temple

Wulei Temple: one of the oldest temples in eastern Zhejiang. It is said that during the chiwu period of the Three Kingdoms period, naroyan, an Indian monk, had a hard work here. Wu Guotai, Sun Quan's mother, felt his piety and invested in the construction of wuleishuo temple, which has a history of more than 1700 years.

Lotus Garden

[Lotus Garden]: Lotus Garden was built and opened to the public in June 2004, covering an area of 2.5 square kilometers. Lotus is a good ornamental plant and the most commonly used symbol of Buddhism, so it is called lotus garden. Lotus is also a symbol of Buddhism. Lotus Garden integrates Buddhist culture and garden scenery. It is a good place for tourists to watch lotus and enjoy tea.

Zangyun River

[zangyun stream]: "Wulei Runming temple, mountain leisure zangyun stream, in a fairyland, do not feel three or four miles." zangyun stream is a shortcut Sun Quan sought for his mother Wu Taishang Wulei to talk about the temple and listen to the Scriptures. With a total length of 1.5 km, zangyun river was officially opened to the outside world in May 2008. Its four major features are Yougu, Qingxi, strange rocks and strange trees.

Wulei Temple

There are many Lingshan ancient temples in Cixi, among which dangtui Wulei temple is the most famous. It is located on the east side of du Lake, corresponding to Jinxian temple. One side is the vast lake, the other side is the towering mountains. The strong Buddhist culture has covered a layer of peaceful atmosphere for the scenic spots here. Wulei temple is known as the first ancient temple in eastern Zhejiang.

Zhenmingchi

There are many places of interest in Wulei temple. There is a pool in front of the gate of the temple, named "Zhenming pool". The clear water flows out from the elephant eye tomb in the East, into the Zhenming pool, and then flows to the Moon Lake through a small canal. It is not exhausted all the year round.

Human history

In the early 1930s, master Hongyi, the 11th generation of the founder of the law school, stopped here to set up "Nanshan law school", but failed because of differences. However, Wulei temple has become the birthplace of Tiantai Sect in Ningbo, which shows its far-reaching influence.

The water is clear and sweet. There are five red pines beside the pool, which are used as fragrant trees of Wulei temple and planted by later generations. On the hillside not far from the temple, there are several towering ancient trees, some of which are hard to estimate their age and need several people to embrace. In the temple, camphor trees are in the majority, with luxuriant branches and leaves, evergreen all the year round, and the golden buildings of Wulei Temple complement each other. All kinds of attics are beautiful, and the halls, pavilions and pavilions are very beautiful. The literati of the past dynasties have left a considerable number of beautiful sentences for Wulei temple. Wulei temple has a lower courtyard at shiqiutou beside du Lake, which is specially for people going up and down the mountain to have a rest.
