Tongsha Park

Tongsha ecological park, located in Dongcheng District of Dongguan, is known as the "urban green lung" of Dongguan. It opened on May 1, 2006. It is located in the south of Dongcheng District next to 107 national highway, covering an area of 40.2 square kilometers, more than 30 square kilometers of mountain forest, 562.47 hectares of water. The north side is the main urban area, the northwest is the new urban center, and the south side is Dalingshan Town and Songshanhu science and Technology Industrial Park. There are two entrances and exits. It spans one district, two towns (Dongcheng, Liaobu, Dalingshan) and one farm (Tongsha forest farm). It is connected with Guanchang road in the West and Huancheng Road in the north. The transportation is very convenient. It is the "green lung" of adjusting ecological balance in the urban area. The whole Tongsha ecological park is built around the reservoir. The beautiful and clean asphalt road is a good place for cycling. This 15 km winding road around the lake can give visitors a full view of the lake and mountain scenery of Tongsha ecological park. In the park, a 1.6-kilometer road around the lake is also built beside the seven sisters mountain, so that tourists can walk through the mountains in the middle of the lake and feel at ease. The road around the lake is 15 kilometers long, with winding paths leading to secluded scenery. Along the way, the trees are swaying and green. You can breathe fresh air and enjoy the endless fun brought by the forest bath.
