Sansheng Palace

Sansheng palace, located 6 kilometers east of Tonghai County, was built in the early years of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty. There are six wooden and gold-plated partition doors in the middle door of the main hall, which are carved in three or four layers.

According to historical records: at that time, it was the earliest and highest level holy palace of Taoism in China, and it was said that Emperor Qinshihuang went south. The alchemists who are engaged in alchemy build the palace here.

Yisheng palace, dedicated to the spring and Autumn Period thinker Lao Tzu as the ancestor, Lao Tzu is also known as Taiqing moral heaven. It was built by Zhang Daoling's descendants.

Therefore, Lushan Sansheng palace was the first Taoist palace in Jiangnan. At the end of Ming Dynasty, it was destroyed by war, but now there are only ruins.
