Bronze statue of Shao Piaoping

The bronze statue of Shao Piaoping is in the Wuzhou Park in Jinhua. Step into the spacious and simple gate of Wuzhou Park, and turn east by the rockery into a winding path. At the end of the winding path is the place where the bust of Shao Piaoping is placed. The bronze statue, 95 cm high, is placed on a two meter high base. The base is composed of 12 pieces of granite. On the front of the base is engraved with Lu Dingyi's inscription: "monument to martyr Shao Piaoping"; on the north is a list of 26 news organizations, including people's daily, which participated in the preparation.

Shao Piaoping holds the supplement of Beijing News tightly in his right hand, wears glasses, looks resolute and stares into the distance, which fully shows his moral character of upholding truth and his spirit of fearing violence. On the Xiaoping terrace on the right side of the bronze statue stands an inscription on Shao Piaoping's life made of granite. On the left side of the statue, there is a new meandering and beautiful pergola flower gallery. On the front side, there is a broad grassland, surrounded by pine and bamboo flowers and trees. The shade covers the sky, which makes it look elegant and beautiful.
