Hakka ridge house

Located in gangpu village, fuhe'aotou, it is a unique ridge house in Guangzhou. It is of great value to the study of local history and culture. At present, it has been listed as an internal cultural relic protection unit in Guangzhou. It was built in 1683, the 22nd year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, with a width of 38.8 meters, a depth of 36.2 meters and an area of 1454.56 square meters. The flat surface of the ridge house is in a half moon shape, and it is built on a 0.4-0.8-meter-high platform. There is a 1.5-meter-high toon wall around the ridge, and a 30 meter high mud brick wall is built on the Toon wall. The middle part of the whole ridge house is two deep ancestral hall. The front gate is three rooms wide and three rooms deep. On both sides, there are lining ancestral halls, which are divided into Mingjian, cijian, Zhijian and Jinjian in turn. Hard top, tile surface, boat shaped ridge, herringbone shaped gable, two columns under the eaves. Verandas are set on both sides of the patio, which are divided into four small rooms. The top of the verandah is tall, and it is integrated with the two natural roofs. The view looks like a butterfly shape, and only a part of the verandah is formed under the eaves. In the Ming Dynasty, there are two parts: the front is for worshiping ancestors, and the back is for the hall. There are side doors on both sides, which open to the front and back, and then go out through the back door to the cobblestone half moon shaped space outside the ancestral hall. Outside the ancestral hall, there are as many as 23 fan-shaped ring houses. The middle part of the back surface of the roof belt is the highest, with dragon boat ridge ornaments on the top extending to both sides. There are no ridge ornaments on both sides of the roof belt until it is surrounded to the front of the ancestral hall to form a large plane, which is turned into a pot ear seal volcanic wall as the side wall, and stands proudly. Between the gable and the entrance of the ancestral hall, there is a flying roof, which seems to be a whole, with a side door under it. There are a pair of flagpole clamps on the left and right of the flat outside the ridge house. In front of the flat, there was a half moon shaped pond of the same size as the ridge house, which is full of creativity. According to the history of the village, Chen Rulan led his family to move here from meijiaoling, Xingmei, and lived there for more than 320 years.

Guangbu village Hakka Weilong house is located in the village of aotougangpu in Fuhe town. It was built in the 22nd year of Kangxi reign of Qing Dynasty. According to the history of the village, Chen Rulan led his family to move here from meijiaoling, Xingmei, and lived there for more than 320 years. This is the unique small ridge house in Zengcheng. It is 38.8 meters wide and 36.2 meters deep. It is built on a 0.40-0.80-meter-high platform. There are 1.5-meter-high toon walls on the external walls around the ridge. The overall plane is half moon shaped.
