Yushuihe

It's in ZHUJIAZHUANG, 5km southeast of Shangyu City. Yushui river is flat and broad, deep blue with black, shallow clear as crystal. It is said that Zhu Yingtai used to wash his hands and face in the river when he was a child. The river was as clean as jade, so it was called Yushui river. He also said that when they went to study in Hangzhou by boat, they accidentally dropped a piece of precious jade into the river. The river was as smooth as a jade. Lianghu Town, Zhu Yingtai's hometown, is located by the Yushui River in the south of Shangyu City, Zhejiang Province. It is rich in high-quality New Year cakes. It is famous in the south of the Yangtze River for its white jade like color, crystal clear, waxy, soft and smooth. It also has an excellent reputation in Southeast Asian Chinese settlements such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
