Jiucaiping Gongbei is located on the top of Geda mountain in the south of Jiucaiping village, Jiucai Township, Haiyuan county. It was first built in 1863, covering an area of 25 mu. It is the burial place of the gold bones of 16 masters, including the fifth generation of Taoist father Feng, the seventh generation of Taoist father Yang Baoyuan, the eighth generation of religious leader an Hongxiu Zhenshi, the ninth generation of religious leader Yang Zhiyun, and also the cemetery of Hui religious people . Every year, the grand religious activities enjoy a high reputation both inside and outside the district.

Gongbei of Jiucaiping was first built in 1863. In 1920, it was destroyed by the Haiyuan earthquake. After restoration, the buildings in the "Cultural Revolution" were completely destroyed. After many years of restoration in 1980, it was basically restored to its original appearance. The existing buildings are decorated with water mill brick carvings, which reproduce the architectural style of that year.

In the 15th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (around 1890), in order to ease the ethnic conflicts, the Qing government sent the second to the first class of Imperial Envoys to Gongbei to comfort the resistance, and also gave Yang Baoyuan 12 inscriptions. During the period of the Republic of China (around 1935), Bai Chongxi, Ma Hongbin, Ma Bufang, Ma Hongkui and Ma Yuanting, senior generals of the Kuomintang and famous Hui people, presented plaques to Gongbei of Jiucaiping and wrote articles. In the early days of liberation, Chairman Mao and commander-in-chief Zhu sent people to present a soft plaque with the inscription "long live the great unity of all nationalities", which was lost during the cultural revolution. Gongbei was rebuilt from 1985 to 1995 under the leadership of Li Degui.

Up and down the mountain, the buildings are scattered, with green trees, birds singing and flowers fragrant, which is very spectacular from afar; the brick carvings of Gongbei and mosque buildings are extremely exquisite and meticulous, and are widely used, including characters, flowers, geometric patterns, mascots and other aspects, which are good places for tourists to enjoy brick carvings; the architectural structure of the Castle Road hall at the foot of the mountain is very special, and the appearance seems to be beautiful A miniature ancient city, about 10 meters high rammed earth wall, each with a turret, the mountain building specifications for "one into the four courtyard", mainly with "coupons shed" of "Bagua hall", "Zhonghe hall", Shuimo brick carving "Zhaobi" and three doors, walls, etc., with high ornamental value; from the brick carving text, patterns and other aspects, the integration of Hui and Han culture is very obvious. For example, in the couplets on both sides of the door, we can see that the Buddhist language is used to persuade people to be good. In the decorative patterns, there are yin yang fish, lotus, bamboo and so on in the Han culture. This is unique in Ningxia Islamic architecture. It is characterized by its elegance, peculiar terrain, magnificent brick carving art, and novel and unique specifications.
