Zhan Tianyou

Zhan Tianyou was born on March 17, 1861 and died on April 24, 1919 at the age of 58. Han nationality, born in Nanhai, Guangdong Province, is a native of Xinwu, Lukeng, Wuyuan, Anhui Province. He is the first outstanding patriotic railway engineer in China, responsible for the construction of Beijing Zhangjiakou Railway and other railway projects, known as "the father of China's railway" and "the father of China's modern engineering".
