Qingyuan Nanshan

The main landscape of Nanshan lies in Dongling on the side of the river. At the foot of the mountain are powengtang, Duyi Pavilion, dingguang room and other scenic spots. There are rich cliff carvings in this area. There are more than 70 pieces from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. Among them, the inscriptions of Su Dongpo and Mi Wei, the great calligrapher, are the most precious. They have been listed as key cultural relics under provincial protection. In the Double Ninth Festival, the people of England and Germany love to climb this peak. They not only enjoy the scenery, but also have the good intention to live longer than Nanshan.

Qingyuan Nanshan is located on the Bank of Beijiang River, 1.5km south of Yingde City. On the other side of the river is the nine story writing tower of Ming Dynasty, which constitutes one of the eight scenic spots in Yingde.

Scenic spots

Entering the scenic spot, the main landscape is Dongling on the side of the river. At the foot of the mountain are powengtang, duyiting and other scenic spots. There are abundant cliff stone carvings in this area, coexisting more than 70 stone carvings from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. Among them, the inscriptions of Su Dongpo and Mi Fu are the most precious, and have been listed as the provincial key protected cultural relics. Along the zigzag path up Dongling, on the left is Baizhang cliff, under the cliff is "nanshantan", on the right is strange stone contend. Along the way through the zhongleting, feixialing. There is a two-story Pavilion on the top of the mountain near the river, named "fumigation Pavilion".

It was here that Shun played the song of "looking at the goose" and sang the poem of "fumigating the wind". Under the pavilion, there is a mountain road leading to mingxianfeng, the main peak. The mountain here is steep, so it's better to have a guide to accompany. On Mingxian peak, you can overlook the land of England. Local people love to climb this peak during the Double Ninth Festival. They can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also get the "longevity than Nanshan".

Emperor Shun ascended beizui, singing strings to guide birds

Nanshan is located in the southern suburb of Yingde City with beautiful scenery. There is a Mingxian peak on the mountain. There is an old legend about the origin of mingxianfeng. According to the records of Yingde county annals, it is said that in ancient times, Emperor Shun was on a tour to the south. When he passed by Yingde, he saw various forms of Nanshan, with verdant mountains, towering ancient trees on the mountain, gurgling springs at the foot of the mountain, singing birds and flying butterflies. He was immediately fascinated by the scenery, so he led hundreds of civil and military officials to climb the mountain. When I came to beizui and looked around, I saw picturesque scenery, especially enchanting and more interested. So I directed the band to play the song "looking at the goose" and sing the word "fumigation wind" nine times in a row. Beautiful music leads to a hundred birds dancing, the people listen, the people are lucky. After Emperor Shun left, the local people built a stone peak on the mountain in memory of Emperor Shun's singing string in beizui. It was shaped like a brick cellar and named "Ming string peak".
