Taiping Bridge

It is located at the east entrance of Hougang in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, connecting chenghuangdai and Xianjiang street. It was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty and has a history of 500 years.

The bridge is engraved with a "rosette" pattern. It was renovated in the early Qing Dynasty. There are vines growing in the stone cracks of the bridge, covering the stone arch cave tickets. Beside the bridge is Shen Tilan's old house.

Here, the gray walls, sloping roofs, scattered dwellings and clear flowing water are one of the best scenes selected by people.

Although it has been very commercialized here, the appearance of the ancient town is still there, and you can still feel the taste of a small town in the south of the Yangtze River.

Taiping Bridge

Taiping Bridge, located in Pingqiao Township, southern Sichuan Province, at the south foot of bawangpo, on the Ziyan River, is an important bridge from Baoning to Shunqing in ancient times. "Nanbu county annals" records: "it was built in the 10th year of Jiaqing (1805) of the Qing Dynasty. It was donated by the monks of Taiping temple and rebuilt in Hualin." The bridge, named after the temple, was changed into a highway stone arch bridge in 1976.

After the Taiping Temple monk Hualin rebuilt. In 1958, it became a bridge on Shepan highway. In 1976, it was changed into highway stone arch bridge.

Taiping Bridge is a double hole stone arch bridge with a span of 45 meters and a deck width of 10 meters.

In the Qing Dynasty, Taipingqiao was located on the main road from Baoning prefecture to Shunqing Prefecture. It was an important bridge in Nanbu county. In 1958, it became part of Shepan highway and the main road from Nanbu county to Nanchong City.

① Starting from Shanghai: Shanghai → Yan'an viaduct road → G50 → Jinze exit → Shangta → Zhouzhuang Ancient Town

② Starting from Nanjing: Nanjing → Shanghai Nanjing Expressway (G2) → Kunshan exit → kunzhou highway → Jinxi → Zhouzhuang Ancient Town

③ Starting from Suzhou: Suhong Airport Road (s343) → kunzhou highway → Jinxi → Zhouzhuang

④ Starting from Zhejiang: Huzhou → Shanghai Jiangsu Zhejiang Expressway (G318) → Jinze exit → shangtan → Zhouzhuang Ancient Town

3. Bus: you can take bus from Zhouzhuang bus station to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town tourist area.

No. 261 in Zhouzhuang area gets on the bus from Zhouzhuang bus station, gets off at Zhouzhuang new pailou station, and then walks 50 meters to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town exhibition area.

4. Taxi: you can take a taxi from Zhouzhuang bus station to Guzhen, Santana 10 yuan / taxi, Xiali 5 yuan / minicar.
