The tower is 18 meters high and built with cengong white stone. 470 martyrs were engraved on the bronze plate of the tower.

Reasons for construction

Located at the north end of the stadium in Zhijiang County, the memorial tower was built to commemorate the martyrs who died in the fight against bandits in Western Hunan.

Built by cengong white stone, it is 18 meters high. The inscription on the stone tablet is engraved with the heroic achievements of the martyrs, and the bronze plate on the tower body is engraved with the names of 470 martyrs.
