Machang Machi Memorial Park is the administrative district of Taipei City during the Japanese rule period in Taiwan. It is located in the area of today's youth park and South Airport national house.

Machang town Memorial Park is located in Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan. It is adjacent to Xindian River in the South and Shuiyuan road and Youth Park in the north.

brief introduction

Machang town was the administrative district of Taipei City during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, that is, the area around today's youth park and the national house of the South Airport. In the age of white terror, the riverbank of Machang town was a famous execution ground used by the national government to shoot political prisoners.

In 1998, Taipei Mayor Chen Shui Bian decided to set up a "white terror Memorial Park" in Machang town and Liuzhangli to commemorate political prisoners who died in the white terror era. In 2000, the Memorial Park in Machang town was completed. Taipei Mayor Ma Ying Jeou named it "Machang town Memorial Park".
