Luoxi fishing boat, 10 kilometers northeast of Tiantai County, at the foot of Gaoming mountain, is one of the Eight Sights of Tiantai. Here, the mountains are high and the valleys are deep. A strange peak about 100 feet high rises into the sky. From the south to the north, it looks like a giant snail in the sky. Looking up at the hidden waterfall at the edge of the deep water pool under the snail peak, it twists and turns, like a broad white cloth, wrapping the snail body, flickering, breaking and continuing, and falling into the pool. This is the snail pool. Xu Xiake said: "it stands on the wall and goes deep down. Climbing the cliff, you can hang vines. You can see it from a distance from the stone. On the stone wall of the pool, you can split it into four branches. The pool is too thin to see its boundary.

The reflection of the cliffs on the four sides is beyond the reach of the stone beam. " Luoxi stalagmite is known as "hidden stone beam". It is embedded with huge stones. From the side, it looks like a small boat. The waterfall zigzags under the boat. In ancient times, the "boat" had vines hanging down and stretched into the pool, hence the name "Luoxi fishing boat".
