The museum has three floors, a total of six showrooms. From the first to the third exhibition rooms, according to the period of the founding of the army, the foreign army has gone through the stages of the eastern expedition, the northern expedition, the Anti Japanese War and the KMT Communist civil war since it was founded in Huangpu Military Academy in 1924. It reproduces the history through cultural relics, historical materials, archives, war paintings and other materials. From the fourth exhibition room, with the theme of modern national army, it shows the Taiwan area of China through weapons and artillery models, photos, films and so on The armament and combat power of the army, navy and air force; the weapons room displays the weapons and equipment of various periods, and the former rank room is now changed to the audio-visual room.
