South Horizons

Haiyi peninsula is a large private housing estate in Hong Kong. It is located in the west of Ap Lei Chau, Southern District of Hong Kong Island. It is a property of Hutchison Whampoa Development Co., Ltd. It was completed from 1992 to 1995. Haiyi peninsula is divided into four phases, among which blocks 25-28 and 32-33a of phase 4 are called imperial garden.

Most of the buildings in Haiyi Peninsula are built along the coast, so most of the units can enjoy the whole sea view with complete facilities.

South Horizons

South Horizons, a large private housing estate in Hong Kong, is located in the west of Ap Lei Chau, Southern District of Hong Kong Island. It is a property of Hutchison Whampoa Development Co., Ltd. It was completed from 1992 to 1995. Haiyi peninsula is divided into four phases (phase 1: 1-6 blocks, phase 2: 7-16 blocks, phase 3: 17-23a blocks, phase 4: 25-33a blocks). There are 34 residential buildings (no blocks 14, 24 and 34, but blocks 13a, 23a and 33A blocks) in the four phases. Blocks 25-28 and 32-33a in phase 4 are called royal garden. Most of the buildings in Haiyi Peninsula are built along the coast, so most of the units can enjoy the whole sea view with complete facilities.

District councillors

Haiyi peninsula was divided into two districts, Haiyi West and Haiyi East, in the Hong Kong District Council election. Eligible voters from blocks 1 to 16 need to elect members representing Haiyi West, while eligible voters from blocks 17 to 33A need to elect members representing Haiyi East. In the 2007 Hong Kong District Council election, the Democratic Party's Feng Weiguang defeated his opponent in the election by 1747 votes, and the independent candidate Luo Jinhong won the seat of haiyixi in the Southern District Council. In haiyidong constituency, Lin Qihui, an independent candidate, defeated Wei Weihong of gongmindang by 1687 votes.
